Wednesday was a busy day!
Wednesday was a really busy day. We started the day with Farmer Chris helping us to work in our garden. He helped with removing old plants, planting new seeds, weeding, and mulching. It was so hot, and humid, but a lot of work got done. Thanks Farmer Chris. Next we went inside to get drinks while Mrs. Cox, Mr. King and Jess and Emma got our lunch ready. We had a yummy pasta lunch, Mrs. Cox used sauce from her tomatoes that she canned last fall. Mr. King used yesterdays mozzarella, and vegetables from the garden to make a salad, Chef Nick's was better on Monday. One student said, "this salad is really good and like it is from a fancy restaurant with the cheese in it." After lunch we went back outside and did a plant and insect survey. We found lots of different plants and insects that shows us the area around the Stoklosa
